Is Cosmetic/Professional Teeth Whitening safe?

It is an organic, plant and mineral based product with built in enamel building properties. Scientific research has shown that the active ingredients in this teeth Whitening Gel are safe and effective. The products and whitening equipment are FDA approved and have been used throughout the dental and cosmetic community for many years. This Teeth whitening process does not alter or damage the structure of the teeth; it merely lifts and removes years of unwanted stains, making your teeth whiter, and brighter.

How long does it take?

Each 60 minute treatment consists of (3) - 20 minute rounds  of whitening and provides optimal results and removal of most layers of staining. Total Appointment time is 90 minutes to allot for informed consent, before and after photos, as well as discussion of after care, etc. Maintenance boosting treatments (every 3-6 months depending on lifestyle) are 30-45 minutes, depending on the clients needs.

 

How many shades whiter will my teeth get?

Individual results will depend on your current tooth shade, treatment time, and the composition of your teeth. Your end result will be a whiter, brighter smile. Everyone's teeth are different and will have a natural stopping point.

How long will my teeth stay white?

This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle. However, with proper maintenance and BOOSTING touch-up treatments (Every 3-6 months), you can keep your smile looking great for a lifetime.

What if I have sensitive teeth?

Because this signature gel is all natural the treatment does not hurt, and most clients experience zero sensitivity. Specialized plant and mineral based ingredients used are scientifically proven to aid in prevention of sensitivity. 

 

A very small percentage of clients may feel some slight tooth sensitivity, especially if they are dehydrated, have a long term history of sensitivity, or consume very cold/hot foods or drinks within two hours after the whitening session. Any sensitivity is short term and gone within 24-48 hours. We do offer solutions for those that are concerned about sensitivity.

Does it work on existing dental work?

Yes, our teeth whitening treatment can actively remove staining from existing dental work and take them back to the original color. Our goal is to clean up the existing dental work and whiten the natural teeth to match for a nice even smile. We however cannot whiten them beyond the original base color of the material used at the time of placement. If your existing dental work is not in your smile line it won’t matter either way because it is not visible.

What if I have Invisalign brackets?

We can successfully remove years of stains if you currently have Invisalign brackets in place. This treatment is safe and will not compromise the integrity of any existing dental or ortho work. 

We recommend whitening with Invisalign brackets if you have at least 6+ or more months to go with your braces treatment. If you have less than that time frame, we recommend that you wait until post removal of your braces. As always consult with your ortho if you have any concerns.

 

*Additionally: A whitening treatment prior to placement of Invisalign or traditional braces is also a great option.

 

Is this treatment for everyone?

This Teeth Whitening treatment provides dramatic results for anyone who wants to whiten their teeth. This includes people with teeth that have been stained by smoking or by substances such as coffee, tea, soda, wine and other consumable items. We also see great results on people with teeth stained by tetracycline, fluoride, and hereditary discoloration.

 

Most individuals 14 years of age or older with parental consent are eligible.

 

However, there may be extreme situations in which treatment may not be advised. 

if you are in current pain, have not seen your dentist in over 1 year or have pending dental work, this treatment may not be recommended for you.

What should I avoid for the first 24-36 hours?

Do I still need to see my dentist for cleanings if I have a teeth whitening?

Cosmetic teeth whitening does not take the place of your regular and routine dental care. Not only is your regular dental cleanings recommend, they are encouraged. Please continue scheduling and maintaining routine care with your dentist a minimum of every 6 months to ensure your teeth, gums and oral cavity are healthy. A healthy mouth provides a better canvas for teeth whitening in general.

How often can I have a whitening treatment?

There is no limit on how many treatments that you can have done. Because these products are mineral based, FDA approved, organic, vegan, and cruelty free. They are safe for all types of teeth, with minimal to zero sensitivity.

 

We recommend maintenance through boosting touch-up treatments in studio every 3-6 months.

What is your Cancellation/Booking Policy?

Rescheduling:

> Before 48 Hours - If you need to reschedule for any reason you may reschedule prior to 48 hours without losing your deposit and it can be transferred to another appointment date. 

 

<Less than 48 hours - You will lose 100% of your deposit and will need to pay another non-refundable deposit in order to book again.
